The third of four renovations for this family was the kitchen! An absolute showstopper - this kitchen has been completely transformed. We worked with Village Handcrafted Cabinetry to design stunning custom walnut cabinets, which include full-height walnut doors leading to a hidden butler's pantry as well as a Murphy door cabinet and shelving unit that opens up to a wine room no one would ever guess was there. This kitchen also features slide away storage for every appliance you can imagine for a clutter-free space.
We removed several walls and installed a large steel support beam to dramatically open up the floor plan and allow for the installation of an island of enormous proportions. The customer did not want to see a beam, so we minimally dropped the vaulted ceiling and installed a classic tin tray ceiling with dramatic uplighting on all sides above the island, turning structural necessity into an intentional design feature.
