HILLSIDE AVE PRIMARY SUITE REMODEL

This master suite renovation transformed an underutilized bedroom in a 1920s twin home into a luxurious and highly functional primary bathroom and walk-in closet. Tilghman Builders carefully reconfigured the second-floor layout to create a seamless connection between the existing primary bedroom, new spa-inspired bathroom, and custom closet space while preserving the character of the historic home.

The new primary bathroom was designed to feel timeless, bright, and relaxing. A freestanding soaking tub, custom double vanity, patterned tile flooring, and a spacious steam shower create a high-end retreat with both modern comfort and classic style.

Warm brass plumbing fixtures and carefully selected finishes complement the original architecture while adding a refined, updated aesthetic.

The custom steam shower features full-height tile, integrated bench seating, recessed storage niches, and luxury fixtures that elevate the everyday experience. Large windows and soft color selections help the bathroom feel open, calming, and full of natural light.

In addition to the bathroom renovation, this project included a completely custom walk-in closet with built-in shelving, hanging storage, shoe organization, and tailored cabinetry designed specifically for the homeowners’ needs.
